The Doing Activities With Great Spirit (DAWGS) organization hosted a bingo night from 6-7 p.m. on March 17 in Hunsaker Lounge to celebrate the Irish holiday. St. Patty’s Day Bingo is an annual DAWGS event, but this year it had a grocery bingo theme.

All those who embraced the holiday spirit by wearing green were treated with a goodie bag containing St. Patrick-themed beaded necklaces, rubber ducks, temporary tattoos and chocolate.
The winner of each bingo round got to choose from prizes such as a gift card, yoga mat, or speaker, while those who got a blackout bingo could win a grocery basket of laundry supplies, games or snacks. Attendees eagerly competed for prizes, with the laundry basket garnering the most players’ attention. DAWGS often hosts grocery bingo events midway through each semester for students to win some supplies and take a break from their studies.
