The Doing Activities With Great Spirit (DAWGS) group held their second annual Lovely Dinner on Feb. 14 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. DAWGS members spent three hours outfitting The Table at Irvine Commons with festive decor and partnered with Harvest Table to create the menu. Main dishes included London broil steak, chicken pot pies, vegan pot pies, baked potatoes and cheese tortellini. And in the true spirit of the holiday, there was a large dessert display.
The Valentines Dinner is just one of the several events DAWGS puts on throughout the semester to bring smiles to students’ faces and joy to campus.
