“A thneed: a fine-something-that-all-people-need,” The Once-ler said. But what happens when there are no more thneed-bearing Truffula Trees? Come and find out at “The Lorax” movie night this Sunday, Feb. 23!
This movie night is put on by the Students for Environmental Action (SEA) Club and will take place on the Quad, with the movie starting at 7:30 p.m. There will be $1 popcorn and $2 pizza for purchase, and in environmentally-conscious fashion, people are encouraged to bring their own dishes. Lawn blankets are a good idea, and there will be additional ones for rent.
The SEA Club invites students to come and enjoy a break from the college grind with a classic movie and good company!
McKenzie Rose, a sophomore double-majoring in Environmental Studies and Journalism, serves as the Redlands Bulldog Editor-in-Chief this semester. McKenzie first dabbled in the world of journalism during high school by working as a freelance reporter with the municipal Hermiston Herald and regional East Oregonian newspapers near her hometown of Echo, Oregon. She enjoys running (participating in the university’s track & field and cross country teams), spending time with her pets, traveling and listening to good ‘ol country music!
