Metrolink Train Offers Free Passes for Students

Students who live on campus at the University of Redlands may be familiar with the Metrolink train that runs behind the new Ann Peppers Hall, especially given its tendency to blare its horns at inconveniently early hours in the morning.

Now, Metrolink is offering free passes for two months at the beginning of 2023, Vice President for Administration Michelle Rogers announced Tuesday. Students, faculty, and staff can take advantage of complimentary passes for January and February. The passes are valid for the new Arrow Line stations and all Metrolink stations. Additionally, all passes include free station transfers.

In order to receive the free train pass, you must download the Metrolink App and register with your university email address and complete the enrollment form by December 13. The Metrolink team will be tabling in Hunsaker Plaza this week to provide information on using the app and accessing the free passes.
